3:1 in Tukums! We are in the 1/4 final of the Latvian Cup!

Tonight in Tukums, "Riga Football Club" with the scoreline of 3:1 won the "Tukums 2000/TSS" team in the Latvian Cup 1/8 final. Goals were scored by Jean Leo, Felipe Brisola and Yunusa Muritala. 

Last season we played three games against Tukums. "Riga" won all three - 5:1, 5:2 and 2:0. 

At the beginning of the match, "Riga" had several goal scoring opportunities, but we were unable to take them. In the middle of the half, a great shot from about 28 meters was made by Tukums player, and "Riga" was saved by crossbar. In the 41st minute, we scored. After a great pass from Vladislavs Fjodorovs, the forward Jean Leo scored - 1:0.

In the second half, "Riga" continued to dominate and created several dangerous moments. Yunusa Muritala had several good opportunities to score, but played for long time could not use his chances. In the 71st minute home team midfielder Ričards Korzāns scored with a header after a cross - 1:1. Eight minutes later Felipe Brisola scored from close distance - 2:1. In the 81st minute, Muritala finally scored the first goal in the "Riga" shirt - 3:1. Victory and place in the quarterfinals of the Latvian Cup.
