Riga signs Kosovo national team midfielder Halimi

Latvian champion "Riga Football Club" has officially signed a contract with 26-year-old Kosovo national team midfielder Besar Halimi! For the last two seasons, Halimi played in the German 2. Bundesliga, but in March scored against Spain! Welcome!

Halimi was born on December 12, 1994 in Frankfurt, Germany. In his youth career, Halimi played for German teams such as "Eintracht Frankfurt", "SV Darmstadt 98" and "1st FC Nurnberg". Halimi also has experience in the German U18 and U19 national teams.

In 2013, Halimi became a "VfB Stuttgart" football player. For the next two seasons, Halimi played in the German 3rd league. In 2015, Besar became a football player of the German Bundesliga club "Mainz 05". In the season 2015/2016, Halimi on loan played in the 2nd Bundesliga. From 2017 to 2019, Halimi played for one of the strongest teams in the Danish Superliga "Brondby". In the Danish Superliga, Halimi played 50 games, scored nine goals and made eight assists.

For the last two seasons, Halimi has represented the German 2nd Bundesliga club "Sandhausen". In 26 games, the footballer scored two goals and made one assist. In the national team of Kosovo, Halimi has played 27 games and scored three goals.
