Victory before the break

Tonight at the Mežaparks Stadium in the 15th round game of the Latvian Highest league "Riga Football Club" won "Metta" with the result 3:0. The goals were scored by Vladimirs Kamešs, Jean Leo and Felipe Brisola.

We had played a draw against "Metta" this season - 1:1. The only goal was scored by our captain Antonijs Cernomordijs.

The aggressive and emotional game was all the first half. In the 33rd minute, the goal after Mikael Soisalo pass was scored by Vladimirs Kamešs. Five minutes later, Metta's defender Ilya Korotkov received a red card. "Riga" continued to attack and Jean Leo scored a goal few minutes before end of the first half.. After 45 minutes, "Riga" was in the lead with 2:0.

In the second half, "Riga" played much more with the ball. The Latvian champions created several dangerous moments, but were unable to score. In the 85th minute, Felipe Brisola scored from penalty. Victory with the result 3:0.
