"Riga" terminates contract with head coach Laktionov

Latvian champion "Riga Football Club" by mutual agreement has terminated the contract with the head coach Denis Laktionov! Thank you for your work and success in the future!

Kristaps Blanks will led the team in the next matches. Kristaps was at this role also at the very beginning of the season, when Laktionov had not yet been officially confirmed as the head coach.

Officially, as the head coach of "Riga", Laktionov was in seven games, in which the team got four victories, once played a draw and suffered two losses. In total, "Riga" has gained 26 points in 12 games and takes the third place in the tournament table. RFS and Valmiera have the same points.

Previously, as a coach, Laktionov had worked in South Korea and Russia. In these countries, Laktionov also played in his professional football career.
