
Riga signs Armenian national team midfielder Babayan
Latvian champion "Riga Football Club" continues to sign new players. The club has signed a contract with Armenian national team midfielder Edgar Babayan, who previously played in Denmark! Welcome!
Edgar was born on October 28, 1995 in the German capital, Berlin. At an early age Babayan moved to Denmark. Edgar is a citizen of both Armenia and Denmark. Babayan plays in the position of a winger.
The 180-centimeter-tall midfielder is a Danish club "Randers" grown player. As part of "Randers", Edgar spent the first four seasons of his professional football career. Babayan made his debut at the age of 18 in the Danish Superleague.
In 2016/2017, Babayan with "Hobro" became the champion of Danish first league. In the "Hobro" team, Babayan became one of the team leaders and played in the Superleague for three full seasons. In the Danish Superleague, Babajan has played 107 games, scored 13 goals and made 19 assists.
Babayan has 11 games played and one goal scored for the Armenian national team. Edgar also played one game for the Danish U20 national team.
