Third game without goals - 0:1 against "Shakhtyor"

Tonight in Dubai, "Riga Football Club" suffered third defeat. During the training camp we loss 0:1 to the Belarusian champion Soligorsk "Shakhtyor" - 0: 1. The next game on February 3 against the Uzbek champion "Pakhtakor".

So far we had two test matches against the teams of the Russian Premier League in Dubai. Unfortunately, we have not score yet. 0:3 against the Russian champion "Zenit" from St. Petersburg and 0:1 against the participant of the UEFA Champions League group tournament "Krasnodar".

Today the game "Riga" started with the line-up, who went to the field in previous matches in the second part of the game. At the beginning of the match,  "Shakhtyor" footballers was completely dominating. Already in the start, the Soligorsk team had two great opportunities. In one episode, "Riga" was saved by goalkeeper Ilya Isaev, but a few minutes later by the goal post. After an active 20 minutes, the game became slower. In the 34th minute, Igor Stasevich opened the score with a long shot after Isaev's mistake. "Riga" did not create good chances in the first half. After 45 minutes 0:1.

At the beginning of the second half, "Shakhtyor" continued to put pressure on the "Riga" side. In the 60th minute, the main lineup of "Riga" went on the pitch. The game immediately changed, and "Riga" was the one that formed more attacks. In the 67th minute, after Stefan Milosevic pass Vladimirs Kamess had a great chance, but could not take it. The second half was played in a close game. "Riga" played more with the ball, "Shakhtyor" formed a counterattacks, but there were no more goals scored. Loss with 0:1.
